So I thought I would start with an explanation of why this exists and what you can expect from it. This is a blog and community sharing ideas of how to use creativity and nature to bring calm and promote positive mental wellbeing. In late 2018, I started therapy for anxiety and realised the important role that nature and art have played in my own mental health journey. As a mother of two young children, I also wanted to find fun mood-boosting and mindful ways of promoting positive mental health in my little ones. It will include fun how tos, printables and tasks that I’ve found useful around the subjects of Relaxation, calm and meditation. Positivity, gratitude and kindness. Seeking joy in the ordinary. Outdoors and adventure. Bravery and resilience. Art and creativity. Finding balance and what is important to you.
